Welcome to Joensuu Art Museum!
Joensuu Art Museum is located in the centre of Joensuu, near the market square. Permanent exhibitions include Finnish art from 1850s to modern days, Eastern Orthodox icons, Chinese art and European church art. Temporary exhibitions focus on topical themes of Finnish and international art.
Exhibition change downstairs 11–27 January 2021. Permanent exhibitions are open, but during the change, we are closed on weekends and close at 16:00 on Wednesdays.
The Chinese exhibition on the 2nd floor is being renewed and will reopen in the beginning of 2021.

Please follow these guidelines while visiting the museum during the coronavirus pandemic:
- wear a face mask, use hand sanitiser/wash your hands, keep a safe distance to others (1-2 metres), stay home if you are not well
