Welcome to Joensuu Art Museum!
Joensuu Art Museum is located in the centre of Joensuu, near the market square. Permanent exhibitions include Finnish art from 1850s to modern days, Eastern Orthodox icons, Chinese art, Greek and Roman antiquities and European church art. Temporary exhibitions focus on topical themes of Finnish and international art. (Please note: the Antiquities exhibition is temporarily closed and will reopen during 2021.)
Please follow these guidelines while visiting the museum during the coronavirus pandemic:
- wear a face mask, use hand sanitiser/wash your hands, keep a safe distance to others (2 metres), stay home if you are not well

- The museum is closed for Midsummer from Friday to Sunday 25 - 27 June 2021.
